My MW2 Class Selection

After my previous post Modern Warfare 2 First Impression I have now had chance to hone my class and skill selections in Modern Warfare 2′s online multilayer. This involved checking out most weapons and perk combos to fined what best works for me. While taking part in this “very important research” I have noticed some very complimentary combos that made life allot easier and very fun. The main class I am using at the moment is called Man Smack and broken down looks like this:

Main Weapon – SCAR-H
Attachments – Red Dot & Silencer
I chose this weapon because it is unlocked early on and is seriously steady when fired. The stats are good and the rapid fire suits my playing style. The red dot attachment helps with ranged kills and I fined it allot better than the holographic sight. The Silencer has not made any recognisable difference to the damage or range and is great for keeping my position hidden. The only bad point about this weapon is I keep running out of ammo or that could just be down to me being trigger happy…

Secondary Weapon – Stinger
I purely use this to kill all the seriously annoying air hazards like choppers and harriers. It is simple to use as it can only be fired once a target has been locked. The down side of this is that you cant use it on infantry units.

Equiptment – Claymore
This really helps build my kill streaks as I drop them in high traffic that inevitably end in my getting a free kill. Another use for them is to cover your back. If they don’t kill the person coming in behind you at least you now know they are on the way!

Grenades – Flash Grenades
In my opinion these are by far the best grenades for assaulting or defending a position. They have saved my bacon on many occasion but seam to have a very short fuse.

Perks
Bling – Used so I can get both attachments I want on my SCAR-H
Cold Blooded – So I dont get pinged by missles and thermo campers.
Ninja – So I can sneak up on motion sensor noobs.
I am going to talk about perks in more detial in a future post and hopefully show what they all do in standard and pro.
